After 5 years of growth, they have doubled in size. The company is looking forward towards its’ new vision by supporting women to lead a “life less ordinary”. The team consists of 15 members, with a strong focus on company culture and values.

Business Need

Empowering team synergy & communication

Holly & Co already understood the power of DISC Personality Profiling. However, they saw value in a deeper use of DISC. With the use of behavioural strengths and motivators they wanted to create a higher performing team and develop empowerment and growth at Holly & Co. This training was required to enable the team to understand their own “preferred” communication and management style and be able to identify and understand the styles of others. With this greater awareness adapt their approach to lead, inspire and motivate other individuals.

Solution

Holly & Co wanted to partner with The Coaching Academy to provide a DISC High Performance Teams workshop. The DISC system is a strength-based model and provides companies with an effective tool to fully develop the talent that already exists within the current personnel, increase productivity, enhance teamwork and cooperation, and ultimately increase the bottom line.

Our tailored solution:

• Pre training design meeting : between our Head of Training, Sharon Lawton and Harriet Rhodes, Managing Director of Holly & Co. This was vital to understand the client’s vision, understand those attending and to ensure the training is directly relevant to the company’s needs and expectations.
• In-Person Training Workshop: A full-day, interactive workshop was conducted on-site at Holly & Co's headquarters. Our goal was to ensure all participants could foster a positive work environment by appreciating and valuing individual differences and enhance team performance and overall productivity.
• The Psychology of Motivation and Behaviour: DISC is the universal language of behaviour and part of the training included the able/motivated matrix which supports the identification of skills gaps and develop top performers. By embedding this model within the company, we covered the psychology of motivation and behaviour of teams and individuals.
• We provided a multi layered learning experience : including workbooks, handouts, case studies and interactive team activities which were specifically designed for this company.
