Leader as a Coach Advanced Programme

Our flagship programme. Six full training days plus four action learning sets that embed coaching-led leadership deep enough to change your organisation's culture — not just your managers' skillset.

Delegates earn an Accredited Award in Coach Training from the Association for Coaching. More importantly, by the end of the programme they'll be leading differently and their teams will feel the difference.

The Leader as a Coach Advanced Programme

Who it's for

Organisations ready to make coaching-led leadership the default, not a one-off event.

The Advanced programme is our most-requested engagement because it's designed for organisations that want real, measurable culture change — not a feel-good day off-site.

  • Cohorts of 8+ managers, line managers and senior leaders
  • Organisations rolling coaching out as a leadership standard
  • Clients who want an accredited, externally-recognised qualification for their people
  • Teams who've already done the Foundation and want to go deeper
  • L&D functions building an internal coaching capability

Not sure if your org is ready? Book a 15-minute call — we'll help you work out the right sequence.

Format

Six training days plus four action learning sets across three-to-four months.

We spread the programme deliberately. Coaching skills stick when they're practised in the real world between sessions — not when they're all jammed into a single week.

  • 6 × full training days delivered in-person, covering the six modules below
  • 4 × 90-minute action learning sets delivered online between the training days
  • Peer coaching practice expected between sessions to embed the skills
  • Optional 1:1 coaching support available for delegates who want additional depth
  • Accredited Award from the Association for Coaching on successful completion

Outcomes

What delegates and their organisations will get out of it.

  • A comprehensive understanding of how coaching impacts leadership, team development and performance
  • The ability to consistently apply coaching fundamentals for team growth, accountability and empowerment
  • Techniques for recognising psychological obstacles to success and tools to empower teams past them
  • Proficiency in coaching questioning and listening skills that foster independent thinking
  • An understanding of core coaching competencies and ethics for a coaching approach in leadership
  • An Accredited Award in Coach Training with The Association for Coaching

Why invest in the Advanced programme?

Because the Foundation gets your managers started — the Advanced is what changes how your organisation operates. Delegates complete it leading differently, thinking differently, and developing their people as part of the day job. That compounds.

Association for Coaching Accredited Award

On successful completion, delegates receive an Accredited Award in Coach Training from the Association for Coaching — externally-recognised evidence of their development.
