Executive Coaching in the Workplace

1:1 coaching for your senior leaders, directors and high-potentials. Confidential, structured and grounded in 25 years of coaching practice.

Different from our other programmes. Leader as a Coach teaches a leader to coach their team. Executive Coaching brings a coach to your leader. Opposite direction, different outcome.

Executive Coaching

Who it's for

Senior leaders whose next level of growth is internal, not skills-based.

Executive coaching works when a leader needs space to think — not another course. We typically engage with:

  • Newly-promoted executives stepping into a materially bigger role
  • Senior leaders navigating transformation, restructure or acquisition
  • High-potentials being groomed for the top team
  • Directors who've plateaued and know something needs to shift
  • Leaders handed 360 feedback that needs integrating
  • Leaders wanting to become better coaches themselves, modelled on having been coached well

What executive coaching is

Structured thinking space. Not advice.

Executive coaching is a one-to-one, goal-oriented process that helps a leader deepen self-awareness, align with their values and accelerate their impact. It's not mentoring. It's not consultancy. It's not therapy.

It's a confidential thinking partnership, held by an experienced coach, that creates the conditions for a senior leader to work through the things they don't get space for in the day job — and to leave with more clarity, confidence and conscious choice than they came in with.

Every session is structured but unscripted. The leader sets the agenda. The coach holds the space.

How it works

A simple, four-step engagement.

STEP 1

Discovery call

A 15-minute conversation with our team to understand the leader, the context and the goal. No commitment.

STEP 2

Coach matching

We shortlist 2-3 coaches from our senior bench whose style and experience fit. The leader meets each for a 30-minute chemistry session at no cost.

STEP 3

Three-way contracting

Leader, coach and sponsor (usually HR or line manager) agree goals, boundaries and how success will be measured. Confidentiality is explicit.

STEP 4

Coaching engagement

Typically six 90-minute sessions across six months, in-person or online. Mid-point and end-of-engagement review with the sponsor.

Why organisations invest

The business case for executive coaching.

Our clients invest in executive coaching because they want to:

  • Boost leadership effectiveness and confidence, particularly after promotion
  • Enhance strategic thinking, decision-making and resilience
  • Support succession planning and leadership transitions
  • Improve team engagement, trust and performance by changing the leader at the top
  • Address behavioural blind spots that impact culture and morale
  • Retain high-potential talent by visibly investing in them

What to expect

Practical details.

Format

Typically 6 × 90-minute sessions over 6 months. In-person in London, online UK-wide and internationally.

Coaches

All coaches are ICF or AC credentialed with minimum 500 hours of 1:1 practice. We match based on style, sector experience and goal.

Confidentiality

Session content stays between coach and coachee. Only progress against agreed goals is shared with the sponsor, and only with the leader's consent.

Investment

Engagements from £[METRIC] for a six-session programme. Pricing depends on coach seniority and session format.

Let's talk

Book a 15-minute discovery call.

Tell us the challenge you're trying to solve and we'll tell you honestly whether coaching-led leadership is the right answer — and if so, which programme fits. No pitch deck, no pressure.

What happens next: We respond within one working day. The first call is 15 minutes. If it's a fit we'll scope and price a programme together over 2–3 further conversations.
